Only 1km away from the main swimming beach, is a great Italian Restaurant, "La Casa Nostra" and an Umdloti landmark, "The Bush Tavern", pubs and so much more!

Palapa Place is within close proximity to: The centre of Umhlanga Rocks, Umhlanga Hospital, Gateway Shopping Centre, La Lucia Mall, Gym facilities, Four golf courses, Horse riding and Ballito.

The breath taking Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom, just outside Umdloti, is great for shows, restaurants, a pub, coffee shops and the Mangwanani African Day Spa. Ushaka Marine World is 25 minutes away.

Tala, Umfolosi and Hluluwe Game Reserves are from one to three hours drive from Umdloti Beach ... do a day trip to see game, back at Palapa Place beach cottage to sleep.

To get us, turn right at the traffic circle in Umdloti, driving south down the beach with the sea on your left until the very end of the road. Turn right up 6th Avenue and straight into Palapa Place.
